Janine Molinari
Founder - Artistic Director
Janine Molinari is a multifaceted artist who performs, directs, choreographs, judges, and teaches master classes across the USA, Europe, Canada, and Asia. Her work includes serving as an international guest coach and judge on the televised Performer Italian Cup in Italy, Florence’s Into The Musical, the Taipei International Dance Festival, Musical Theatre Tokyo, Music Theatre Festival Toronto, and various renowned competitions, festivals, and schools worldwide.
For the past 15 years, Janine has been a resident director and choreographer at Seven Angels Theatre, a regional Broadway professional Equity Theatre in the USA that premieres new works and revives classic Broadway musicals and plays.
Her original NYC/LA credits include Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding Off-Broadway and its national tour, Above Hell's Kitchen, Blessings In Disguise, The Fantasy Party, The Delusionist, Fiddler Sub-Terrain, Left To Their Own Devices, Dancing Backwards, Tap Rules, The Totally Tubular Time Machine starring Debbie Gibson, Mom-Fare, and the Times Square Project this summer.
In 2021, Janine directed and choreographed the multi-award-winning short film Broadway’s We’re Gonna Come Back, a music video starring young Broadway actors celebrating the return of Broadway.
When not traveling, Janine resides in NYC, where she is the founder and artistic director of DanceMolinari (DMO) NYC/LA/CHI, based at Open Jar Studios in the heart of Times Square. DMO specializes in training and coaching professionals in song, dance, improv, acro, and audition preparation for Broadway, tours, television, commercials, and feature films.
Janine is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association, Screen Actors Guild, AFTRA, the USA National Dance Association, the National Honor Society of American Dance, and Broadway’s Stage Directors and Choreographers Society.
